Zuri Jordan is a junior studying to receive her BFA in photography at Purchase College. Being born and raised in Washington D.C. has played a vital role in Zuri's understanding of the world and her development as a young, black, female photographer. In her own words, "Tourists, street art, architecture, and the many peculiar people I encounter on a daily basis have contributed to my ever-growing admiration and curiosity about how photography impacts our society. We live in a world where cameras have become so commonplace that people can construct a persona with one click." Zuri aims to photograph humans in a way that is authentic to their truest self.
