Wesley De Jesus Bruno is a junior photography major at Purchase College, SUNY who was born and raised for nine years in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He has acquired a keen sense of awareness and appreciation for portraits, fashion, landscape, and documentary photography. After he moved to the Bronx, Wesley’s drive to make photographs increased. He is now focused on documenting the growth of his younger brother, the religious and spiritual practices of voodoo and other beliefs in his Bronx community, and the beauty that exists inside and outside of Black bodies.
