Rush has been an opportunity to a new world that I otherwise would have never had access to. Growing up, I did not have much exposure to art until I joined Rush during my junior year of high school. The program showed me that I am artistic and that with practice and time, I can make a great piece of art work in my own style, I was not confined to a type or form of art, but aided in finding a new way of expressing myself with different mediums. The opportunity that this scholarship gives me is the chance to make higher education more affordable, so that I am pursue my digital art degree. I will be able to learn new art forms as well as learn about the world in a new environment, therefore, this scholarship will grant me great opportunities for my life, just like Rush has done for me!
