Dylan DeJong-Dougherty is a documentary-informed street, editorial, and commercial photographer currently based in New York City. Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Dylan communicates his life experiences and deeper interpersonal connections through his work. In 2018 the passing of his father inspired him to document and memorialize his world and the people around him with intentional and archival photography. He has a deep love for music which is translated through the way he photographs the New York music scene. He is currently documenting the lives of up and coming artists Laila! and Liim and has also photographed major acts such as Tyler the Creator, Daniel Caesar, JT, Big Sean and more. He made his directorial debut in 2024 directing a video campaign for Nike with collaborator Laila Smith. Dylan’s work has been published in Rolling Stone, Teen Vogue, Office Magazine and more. He is currently studying at the Department of Photography and Imaging at NYU and is a Tisch Dean’s Scholar.
