Cydney Blitzer was adopted from China when she was eight months old and moved to New York at an early age. Having always possessed a creative spirit, she felt very lucky to be accepted to a liberal arts high school as an art major. In her sophomore year, she was selected to take part in NYU’s Future Imagemakers, a program dedicated to introducing photography to aspiring youth. This experience left such an impression on her that by fall of 2017, she had enrolled as a student in NYU’s Department of Photography and Imaging.
