Angel Flores is a Salvadoran-American nonbinary artist currently studying photography at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Within their projects, they explore themes of consent, agency, reclamation, and authenticity. Flores’ subject matter consists of the NYC punk scene which they reflect by being in the punk band Waterlogged as well as being an active organizer. Besides art, they volunteer within many organizations and collectives such as AbcNoRio, 8 Ball Community, Club A Kitchen, and Hydropunk. During the summer, Flores leads Club A Skate which is a youth lead DIY initiative that supports the local skate community through horizontalism and mutual aid.
