Kennedy’s life started like most New York City kids— in a one-bedroom apartment on the Upper West Side. His elementary school began with learning to play the piano, recorder, saxophone, and now bassoon at LaGuardia High School. Music has always been part of Kennedy’s life. The Gordon Parks scholarship allows Kennedy the opportunity to explore his passion further. In addition, Kennedy loves to draw manga characters and also fences competitively, training four times a week.
