Joshua Williams is one of Atlanta’s bright young developing musicians. As a multi-instrumentalist, he has been recognized nationally and internationally for his musical ability. Since being selected to participate in the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Talent Development Program his freshman year, Joshua has studied with ASO principal tubist, Michael Moore. Under the direction of Mr. Moore, Joshua has become a National Young Arts Finalist, been selected to solo with the Georgia Symphony, and was a finalist in the President’s Own Marine Band Competition. Aside from tuba, Joshua is also a jazz bassist and performs regularly throughout the metro Atlanta area. Joshua has performed over 300 times in his high school tenure while staying a member of the top ten in his class.
