Claudia Mann is a junior in the Department of Photography & Imaging at New York University's Tisch School of the Art. She was born in Santa Monica, California but grew up in Florence, Italy. Growing up in a bilingual and bicultural household (her father is American and her mother is Italian) shaped her into a culturally curious person. She is interested in becoming a documentary photographer with a focus on a portaiture project on prison exonerees and last year while studying abroad in Argentina she interned at ARGRA (Asociación de Reporteros Gráficos de la República Argentina), Argentina's national archive.
