Ayesha Kazim is a 20 year old portrait and documentary photographer currently completing a B.F.A in Photography and Imaging at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Her international background, having grown up between South Africa and the United States, informs her global perspective and desire to create multi-layered narratives. Her goal through image-making is to utilize an anthropological lens to establish connections between contrasting communities and create work that borders the line between fine art and photojournalism.
