Siara Ramos is a sophmore photography major. She was raised in The Bronx, but currently lives in Queens, NY. While attending high school in Manhattan, she developed a love for the architecture that surrounded her, and when finally in possession of a camera, began taking photographs that attempted to show a New York City that most people don't see. As her style has developed, Ramos's work has begun to explore making collages. She uses her photographs to create new abstract collages that are meant to create a new architectural structure. In this way she begins to see her surroundings in a whole new way.
