Karla Taveras is an 18-year-old female director. She is currently a senior at The Cinema School, where her involvement ranges from peer mentor to Senior Leadership Team representative. Karla has directed, written, and acted in various films. Her film, El Coche Rojo, produced in La Coruña, Spain, debuted April 5th at The Paley Center for Media in New York City. Karla's goal is to make innovative films that shift people's paradigms. She is currently preparing to enter the Film Conservatory at SUNY Purchase to continue her career in film.
