Cydney Blitzer is a photographer who is currently enrolled in NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She was adopted from Hunan Province, China when she was eight months old and grew up in Florida before moving to NYC. She was always captivated by photography as a medium due to its preservative power and discovered it as her passion after being accepted into NYU’s Future Imagemakers program. In her own work, she is fascinated with performance photography and utilizes self portraiture as a tool for growth. She dreams of exploring the world, collecting stories as well as photographs as she goes.
