Cecilia Nuñez is a senior at Harvard University, originally from San Gabriel, California. She studies History and Literature with a focus in Afro-Latin American history and cultures. Her academic interests include cultural production, racial justice advocacy, and the intersections between the arts and activism across the African diaspora. On campus, she served as president of the Phillips Brooks House Association and co-director for the Boston Refugee Youth Enrichment Teen Program. She is also involved in various racial justice and equity efforts on campus, such as advocating for ethnic studies and resources for students of color.
