Aiyana Smash is a junior college prep student from Mount Vernon, New York who has been enrolled in HSA's Music Department for eight years and the Visual Arts Department for one year. She attends the Montfort Academy. Aiyana takes photographs of the everyday student life of a high school teenager, capturing both what that teenager sees as well as waht society sees, the beauty of it all, and the freedom and happiness of being young. In addition to this, she is also a music producer, singer, and songwriter. She plans to release a single and music video this summer as well as have her photography displayed in the upcoming student art exhibition at HAS.
