Bruce Weber became a preeminent photographer of the fashion industry in the 1980’s and continues to be one of its most popular and influential photographers. Working for Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Karl Lagerfeld, Gianni Versace, and Abercrombie & Fitch, Weber pioneered a nostalgic, boy-next-door style that redefined the industry. He has also earned acclaim for his filmmaking, including Broken Noses (1987), Let’s Get Lost (1989), which was nominated for an Academy Award, Chop Suey Club (2001), and A Letter to True (2004). More than fifteen books of Weber’s work have been published. His photographs are in the permanent collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Museum of Modern Art in Paris. He has been honored with several awards for his creative endeavors.
