The Gordon Parks Foundation's collection includes works by the artists who are supported by our fellowship and prize programs, as well as other contemporary artists who extend Parks's legacy.
Since 2017, The Gordon Parks Foundation has awarded two annual $25,000 Fellowships in Art to artists working in a variety of fields and mediums. In 2022, a third $25,000 fellowship was launched, the Genevieve Young Fellowship in Writing. The art fellowships support the research, development, and production of new or ongoing projects that explore themes of representation and social justice. The Gordon Parks Foundation/Steidl book prize, launched in 2020, is a publishing platform for artists whose work is connected to the foundation’s mission.
Researchers are welcome to view works from the collection by appointment. Please email info@mkfound.org for more information.
